OUT OF NETWORK BENEFITS

Lifestyle Counseling is an “out of network” provider. This means we do not accept insurance. You may contact your insurance company to ask about your out-of-network benefits for mental/behavioral health. Most insurance companies will reimburse a percentage of the session cost depending on your plan. The cost of individual therapy in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area is $100 to $250, and reimbursement rates are typically 60% to 80%, after your deductible is met. 

​​Counseling services are on a self-pay basis. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. Lifestyle Counseling keeps a credit card on file to make payment arrangements easy and efficient.

All major credit cards and HSA/FSA payments are accepted.

Sessions are held via HIPPA-compliant video platforms.

Please provide 24 hours' notice if you find you cannot make your appointment. You will be charged the full session amount for missed sessions or late cancellations.
