Everyone experiences difficulties and feels the difficult emotions that follow. In individual therapy, you will learn to manage these feelings by: setting specific wellness goals, exploring your childhood and past difficulties, replacing negative self-talk with a compassionate inner dialogue, building your emotional awareness so you can recognize and validate your feelings, meeting your needs for rest, nourishment and restoration, building your self-awareness so you can recognize and communicate your needs, receive book and media recommendations that support your journey, and learn to mindfully navigate your life.

Explore Childhood Experiences - Delve into your past with compassion and curiosity to understand how childhood experiences have shaped your beliefs, behaviors, and relationships.

Explore Emotional Wounds - Work through unresolved emotions by examining triggers and underlying feelings related to wounds from past traumas, providing an opportunity for emotional release through acknowledgment and validation.

Reconnect with Your Authentic Self - Rediscover the authentic, playful, and creative aspects of your inner child, fostering self-acceptance, self-love, and self-care.

Develop Self-Compassion - Cultivate personal compassion and nurture the wounded parts of yourself with kindness, understanding, and empathy. Challenge and replace negative self-talk with realistic, positive messages about yourself and your abilities.

Build Resilience - Build resilience by integrating the strengths, wisdom, and creativity of your inner child into your present-day life.

Develop Coping Skills - Learn and practice a variety of coping skills tailored to your preferences and needs. Some tools will include grounding, deep breathing, CBT methods, problem-solving strategies, self-compassion practices, mindfulness, and journaling.
